[Writer's Choice] My Favorite Solo Female Artist Songs for Noraebang

Sometimes when you want to sing songs by Korean artists, you can find it difficult to keep up with the various voices of that K-Pop groups have as each group has members with pitches, singing styles, and vocal talents, that vary significantly from your own. Furthermore, the variance in voices can sometimes make songs sound less smooth. For some this can be frustrating, so it’s nice to be able to turn to solo artists. There is a wholeness that comes from using the same voice (even if the artist has a wide vocal range). Also, many solo artists tend to have more heart in the songs that they sing – especially if they created the song. Solo artists songs perhaps are of higher quality as well as it takes significant talent to be performing without groupmates (not to say K-Pop group members don’t have a lot of talent as well). The songs from such artists can easily excite us, feel us with emotion, get us dancing, have us soulfully singing along, of simply have us admiring the artist’s talents. The following male female artist songs do just that for me!
1. IU – Twenty-Three
2. Ailee – I Will Show You
3. So Chan Wee - Tears
4. Gummy – You Are My Everything (Descendants of the Sun OST)
5. IU – Good Day
6. Hong Jin Young – GOOD BYE
7. Suzy – Holiday (Ft. DPR LIVE)
8. Chungha – Roller Coaster
9. Yoon Mirae - Always (Descendants of the Sun OST)
10. Ahn Ye Eun – If Spring Comes (Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People OST)
