Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur has been named the Asian International Player of the Year by the Asian Football Confederation. Son won the honor for his performances for his country as well as his European club throughout the year, at the AFC's annual awards ceremony in Hong Kong on Monday. He also won the award in 2015 and 2017.
