Comedian Yang Se Hyung had the chance to interview Michelin star chef Gordon Ramsay during his stay in Korea for 'Shorterview'. The interview goes through various questions such as his experience in Korea as it was the chef's first time in Korea, Ramsay's own Michelin stars, and his patented profanity-filled critique to food and chefs. When asked about his colorful method of offering critique, Ramsay responded, "I need to be passionate and straight to the point. If a young chef makes a mistake, they need to know there and then. You don't shake their hand and congratulate them for making a mistake. You have to tell them off. So I get straight to the point. I need to get it off my chest. If it's good, I tell you. If it's shit, I'm going to tell you that it's shit." With his need to tell chefs bluntly about the state of their food, he explains that his critiques are not scripted and simply roll of his tongue when it happens.
