Democratic Dan Koh has announced his candidacy for Congress!
Raised in a Korean-Lebanese family, candidate Dan Koh uses his personal experiences as guidance into what matters he should be focused on. Additionally to his personal experience, Dan Koh has amassed experience by serving as the Chief of Staff to Mayor Marty Walsh, the general manager of HuffPost Live, and the Chief of Staff to Arianna Huffington at Huffington Post. In his time as Chief of Staff for Mayor Marty Walsh, he managed 18,000 employees and a three billion USD budget during one of the most prosperous four-year stretched in the history of Boston. With an innovative track record of getting things done, Dan represents a new generation of leadership that's ready to bring fresh ideas to Congress.
Dan Koh aims to focus on achieving universal healthcare coverage, creating an economy where everyone is able to have access to a good career with upward mobility, improving the educational system, combating climate change, and more!
If elected, Dan Koh will be the first Asian-American member of Congress from Massachusetts and the second Korean-American member of Congress in the entire country. Numerous people had given their support for Dan Koh as a future member of Congress; the Hill had also commented on Dan Koh being a rising star in the Democratic Party.
