Emmy Award-winning CBS drama “The Good Wife” recently aired its series finale, meanwhile, its Korean remake of the same title is gearing up to launch its pilot episode on cable network tvN. On Tuesday, the upcoming tvN drama released stills portraying the emotional conflict between actress Jeon Do-yeon’s character and actor Yoo Ji-tae’s role.

The plot will mainly stick to the original scenario of the American series, with Jeon playing the role of the attractive wife of a powerful figure, stumbling back into the law business after her husband gets imprisoned due to alleged corruption. Yoo will take on the role of her husband and an ambitious attorney who serves jail time.

Actor-singer Yoon Kye-sang and K-pop girl group After School’s Nana play supporting roles in the drama.

“The Good Wife” will release its pilot episode on July 8 on cable network tvN.
